DTC P1066: SBW Control Unit Error: General Description

The Shift By Wire (SBW) system consists of the Shift by Wire Control Unit (SCU), SBW actuator and SBW switch. It receives the EPCU's command through CAN communication and locks and releases parking according to the gear position. The system also reports the status of the SBW system to the EPCU through CAN lines.
