Repair Procedures: Replacement

WARNING:

When working on the high voltage system, make sure that you are familiar and comply with the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings".
If you do not comply with the instructions, serious accidents due to electric shock or leakage may occur.
When working on the high voltage system, make sure to cut off the high voltage first according to the "High Voltage Cut-off Procedure".
If you do not comply with the instructions, serious accidents due to electric shock or leakage may occur.

CAUTION:

When using a screwdriver or remover to remove any part, be sure to wrap it up with protective tape to avoid damaging the part.
Make sure that you put on gloves to protect your hands from potential injury.

NOTE:

Be careful not to let the trim and panel cause damage.

Remove the battery (-) terminal.
Disconnect the high voltage circuit (refer to GENERAL MATTERS ).
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Body - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")
Unfasten the mounting bolt and remove the ground (A) and separate the high voltage connector (B)

Remove the crash pad, heater, and blower unit from the vehicle.
(Refer to Heater - "HEATER UNIT ")
Unfasten the mounting screws and remove the high voltage PTC connector bracket (A).

Press the lock pin to separate the signal connector (A).

Unfasten the mounting screws and remove the high voltage PTC heater (A).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
