Check open in CAN communication line

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect ECM and TCM connectors.
  3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 77 (P-CAN high) terminal of ECM connector and Pin No. 43 (P-CAN high) terminal of TCM connector.
  4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 60 (P-CAN low) terminal of ECM connector and Pin No. 52 (P-CAN low) terminal of TCM connector.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
