Monitor DTC Status

- Connect the GDS and select "System" → "BCM" → "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)".
- Click the "DTC Status" to check the DTC information.
- Read the "DTC Status" parameter, and Record all DTCs, DTC state and freeze frame data.
- Is the same DTC set again?
YES
- Go to "Wiring Inspection " procedure.
NO
- This can be BCM* memory was not cleared after repair.
→ Erase the DTCs, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
- This can be an intermittent fault caused by Poor Contact in BCM*'s and/or B-CAN communication unit/module's connector.
→ Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
→ Repair or replace the harness/connector as necessary, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
