Visual Inspection

Inspect visually/physically the following items:
- Air cleaner filter element for excessive dirt or any foreign objects
- Intake system restriction
- Exhaust system restriction
- Engine mechanical problem
- Sludged throttle body
Have any problems been found?
YES
- Repair as necessary and go to "Resetting Adaptive Values " procedure.
NO
- Clear any DTC's and test-drive the vehicle under the enable conditions. After test-drive, If this DTC is set, go to "Resetting Adaptive Values " procedure below. If not, troubleshooting is completed.
