Shorted Circuit Inspection For BSD Switch Signal Circuit

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
  3. Disconnect BSD switch.
  4. Measure resistance of Pin No. 9 (signal) of BSD switch connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞Ω

  5. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Check short to ground in BSD Switch signal Circuit. And then, go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
