Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF" and disconnect APS connector.
  2. Ignition "ON"
  3. Measure voltage between Pin No. 6 (Signal) terminal of APS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 0V

  4. Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect ECM connector.
  5. Measure resistance between Pin No. 6 (Signal) terminal APS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞ (infinite)Ω (infinite)Ω

  6. Is the measured Value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
