Ground Circuit Inspection
- Ignition switch "OFF"
- Refer to "4WD ECU " and disconnect 4WD ECU connector.
- Ignition switch "ON"
- Measure the voltage between Pin No. 15 (Power) terminal of 4WD ECU harness connector and chassis ground.(A)
- Measure the voltage between Pin No. 15 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 14 (Ground) terminal of 4WD ECU harness connector.(B)
Specification: Difference in (A) and (B) is less than 200 mV
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in ground circuit and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
