Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN Communication
  1. B_CAN High Line Short to Battery/Ground
  2. B_CAN Low Line Short to Battery/Ground
  3. B_CAN High and Low Line Short to Each Other
  4. B_CAN High Line Open/Poor Connection
  5. B_CAN Low Line Open/Poor Connection
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
  • BCM CAN Communication Operating
Threshold Value
  • B_CAN "High" Line Error
  • B_CAN "Low" Line Error
DTC Erasing
  • DTC is erased after solved problem
