CAN Register And Communication Line Inspection 2

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect PCM and IGPM connectors.
  3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 77 (High) terminal and Pin No. 60 (Low) terminal of PCM.)
  4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 13 (High) terminal and Pin No. 14 (Low) terminal of IGPM.

    Specification:  Approx. 120 Ω

  5. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • Problem still occurs, replace, PCM or IGPM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
