Check CAN Communication

  1. Connect all control module connector.
  2. Select "Oscilloscope" with KDS.
  3. Ignition ON/Hybrid Ready (Cluster Indicator "READY" On)
  4. Back probe and measure signal waveform of Pin No. 13 (Low) terminal of IGPM and chassis ground with VMI.
  5. Back probe and measure signal waveform of Pin No. 14 (High) terminal of IGPM and chassis ground with VMI.

    Specification:  Refer the specifications in Fig.1)

  6. Are the parameters displayed correctly?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or SRSCM's connector or was repaired and SRSCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

    NO
