Body Sensor Reset

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition "OFF", connect KDS.
  2. Ignition "ON", select Passenger Occupant Detecting System and select "Body Sensor Reset" mode.
  3. And then press "ENTER"

  4. Turn Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
  5. Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with KDS.
  6. Clear all DTCs in the system with KDS.
  7. Re-check DTC in the system with KDS.
  8. Is DTC stored in the system?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the part's and/or passenger side body sensor ECU connector or was repaired and passenger side body sensor ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
