Section 233 (Audio/Video/Navigation (AVN) System (PHEV)): Troubleshooting: Cd

- System Features/Misdiagnose cases
Inspection Description (1) System features - After IGN ON (H/U B+, ACC Power on), insert CD by directly insert CD or press 'Eject' button.
- Eject CD by pressing 'eject' button.
- No auto mode change (CD ↔ Radio, Media, Navigation), sound cut, skipping tracks while playing CD.
(2) Misdiagnose cases - CD is upside down, insert 2 CDs together inside the deck
- DVD is inserted
- Surface of CD is scratched or damaged
- Modified vehicle (Front panel, black box, custom mic, taxi meters, etc.)
- CD insert/Eject/Play/Sound Skip
Inspection Description (1) Vehicle modification - Check vehicle modification (Front Panel, Black box, Mic, Taxi meter, etc)
(2) Duplicate issue - Place CD inside deck, push in or press 'EJECT' button to insert CD
- If unable to insert CD using above step, reset H/U and try again (Press 'Reset' key)
- H/U ↔ Deck connection (Enter Engineering Mode: available for AVN only)
(3) CD Swap test - Try using different CD to insert/eject and play
- → If issue is resolved, test original CD in different vehicle.
- → If issue continues, proceed with step (4)
(4) Defect caused by Ext. parts - Vehicle battery voltage (Normal: 14.4V)
- Check cable connection status at rear side of H/U
(5) Check H/U defect - If this issue continues, replace H/U and re-test
