Repair Procedures: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE: After replacing the Electric EGR control valve, MUST perform the "Component Change Routine" procedure below. Otherwise trouble related with engine performance or emission control may occur until ECM learning about the component is over.
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Connect the KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  3. Turn ignition switch ON.
  4. Select "Vehicle, Model year, Engine, System".
  5. Select "Vehicle S/W Management".
  6. Select "Component Change Routine".
  7. Select "EGR Valve Change".
  8. Perform the procedure in accordance with the message
