DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to Ground in Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Signal Circuit
  3. Faulty Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • Averaged signal voltage of fuel pressure sensor lower than 0.35V (0psi/0bar)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
