Control Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Refer to CVVT OIL CONTROL VALVE (OCV) and disconnect Intake OCV connector.
  3. Ignition "ON".
  4. Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (Control) terminal of Intake OCV harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 2.3V (Duty)

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Repair open or short in control circuit between Intake OCV and ECM/PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
