Check Short To Battery In CAN Communication Line

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect all related module connectors.
  3. Ignition ON/Hybrid Ready (Cluster Indicator "READY" On)
  4. Measure voltage between Pin No. 13 (High) terminal of IGPM and chassis ground.
  5. Measure voltage between Pin No. 14 (Low) terminal of IGPM and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 0V

  6. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    • Go to "Check short to ground in CAN communication line" procedure.

    NO
