Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • LIN Communication Monitoring
  1. "Rain Sensor" LIN Line Open/Poor Connection
  2. "Rain Sensor" LIN Line Short to Battery
  3. "Rain Sensor" LIN Line Short to Ground
  4. LIN Communication Line Protocol Error from Electrical Noise
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • LIN Data is not Received
  • Checksum Error
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
DTC Erasing
  • Erased DTC after solved problem
