Monitor DTC Status

- Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Ignition "ON".
- Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with KDS.
- Is DTC status displayed as Present?
YES
- Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in "BCM"'s connector or was repaired and "BCM" memory was not cleared after repair.
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
