Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Open the trunk.
  2. Remove the luggage side trim [RH] side cover.
  3. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal (A).
  4. Disconnect the battery sensor connector (B).

    Battery (-) terminal tightening nut  :

    7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  5. Remove the battery sensor by loosening the mounting bolt (A).

    Battery sensor cable flange mounting bolt (Chassis ground)  :

    10.8 - 13.7 N.m (1.1 - 1.4 kgf.m, 8.0 - 10.1 lb.ft)
