Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect EOTS connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (Oil Temperature Sensor) terminal of EOTS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect ECM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Oil Temperature Sensor) terminal of EOTS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞ (Infinity) Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
