DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate O2 Sensor element temperature via measuring element resistance
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty related fuse
  3. Open/Short in Power Circuit
  4. Open/Short in Control Circuit
  5. Faulty Downstream O2 Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Downstream O2 sensor normal heating time is greater than 58s
  • Engine off duration is higher than 60min
  • Battery voltage at between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 sensor resistance is higher than 1kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
