Trunk Position And Direction

The PTL System measures the trunk position by using an integrated hall sensor inside the drive unit motor. The direction of trunk lid movement is detected by analyzing the direction of current flow of the motor. The hall sensor (position detection) is activated in power operation mode and manual mode.
