Repair procedures: Removal

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).
  3. Remove the accelerator position sensor (B) after loosening the mounting bolts.

    Accelerator pedal sensor mounting bolt  :

    8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)
