Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (A).
- Remove the spring clip (B), and then pull the sensor from the water temperature control assembly.CAUTION:
- Note that engine coolant may flow out from the water temperature control assembly when removing the sensor.
