DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, high
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to battery in signal circuit
  3. MAPS
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed greater than 6500 RPM and throttle position 100% or engine speed less than 6500 RPM and throttle position less than 100%
  • Ignition voltage is greater than 11V
Threshold Value
  • Short to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous (More than 2.5 seconds failure for every 5 seconds test)
MIL On Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
