DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Detects a short to battery of O2 sensor heater circuit output
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to ground or open in control circuit
  3. HO2S(B2/S1)
Enable Conditions
  • Engine "ON"
  • Battery voltage 11 ~ 16V
  • Enable time delay is equal to or greater than 0.5 sec.
Threshold Value
  • Short to ground or open
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
