Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least thirty seconds before beginning work.
  2. Remove the front bumper.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FRONT BUMPER ")

  3. Separate the radiator support upper member (A) after loosening the bolts.

  4. Disconnect the front impact sensor connector (A).

  5. loosen the Front impact sensor mounting nut (B), and remove the sensor (A).
