DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Comparing Generator (HSG) RPM and Engine RPM
  • Belt cut
  • Lack of belt tension
  • Abnormal belt installation
  • Contamination of belt (water, foreign material etc.)
  • Faulty belt
  • Faulty generator (HSG)
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
  • No CAN communication fault
  • MCU/HSG Controllable
Threshold Value
  • In case there is excessive generator (HSG) belt slip
DTC Erasing
  • Failure to achieve the threshold value for 10s
DTC Confirmation
  • 2 driving cycles
