Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Multiplicative Long Term FT upper limit reached
  1. Air leakage
  2. Improper fuel pressure
  3. PCV valve stuck
  4. Clogging of injector
Enable Conditions
  • Engine torque between 25 - 60%
  • Engine speed greater than 500RPM
  • ECTS greater than 60°C (140°F)
  • IATS less than 80°C (176°F)
  • Fuel System Status: Closed loop
  • Canister purge control off
Threshold Value
  • Long Term Fuel Trim (multiplicative) greater than 1.23
Diagnostic Time
  • 90s
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving cycles
