System Inspection

■ Visual Inspection 

1. Inspect visually/physically the following items:
   • Air cleaner filter element for excessive dirt or any foreign objects
   • Intake system restriction
   • Exhaust system restriction
   • Engine mechanical problem
   • Sludged throttle body
2. Have any problems been found?

   YES 

   • Repair as necessary and go to "Resetting Adaptive Values" procedure.

   NO 

   • Clear any DTC's and test-drive the vehicle under the enable conditions. After test-drive, If this DTC is set, go to "Resetting Adaptive Values" procedure below. If not, troubleshooting is completed.

■ Resetting Adaptive Values 

1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
3. Select the "Vehicle S/W Management"  about related DTC with KDS/GDS.

4. When the "Resetting Adaptive Values" has been finished perfectly, press "OK" button and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
