Component Inspection

Perform High Pressure Fuel Pump Actuation Test 

  1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" and Engine "OFF".
  3. Perform "Actuation Test"  for High Pressure Fuel Pump.

High Pressure Fuel Pump Inspection 

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect High Pressure Fuel Pump connector.
  3. Measure resistance between power and control terminal of the High Pressure Fuel Pump. (component side)

    Specification:  Approx. 0.6Ω at 30°C (86 °F)

Fuel Pressure Regulator Inspection 

Inspect Fuel Pressure Regulator performance by measuring voltage and current.

  1. Using an oscilloscope measure voltage by connecting channel A (+) voltage probe to High Side and channel A (-) voltage prove to Low Side.
  2. Measure operation current by using Low Current Sensor Module.

Confirm Part Inspection 

  1. Does the High Pressure Fuel Pump operate properly or is the measured value within specification? (Check variation)

    YES 

    NO
