DTC P0077: Intake Valve Control Solenoid Circuit-High (Bank 1): General Description

The Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) system is built on the camshaft and helps the engine decrease exhaust gas and increases power as well as fuel economy, by changing the valve open/close timing of the camshaft continuously. The valve control solenoid, which is the main control part of the CVVT, changes the direction of the oil path through the CVVT by the duty control of the ECM/PCM, and also changes the open and close timing of the intake and exhaust valves.
