DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN communication check between BSD ECU and Gateway
  1. Open or short in CAN communication line
  2. BCM (CGW included)
Enable Conditions
  • 1.6s after ignition "ON"
  • 1s after battery voltage is between 9 to 16V
  • BSD switch ON
  • No CAN bus OFF detection
  • Engine running
Threshold Value
  • The CGW CAN message cannot be received
Detecting Time
  • 1s
Symptom
  • Cluster warning message is "ON"
Fail safe
  • BSD/LCA function is normal operation
Recovery Condition
  • Normal CGW CAN message received
