Status LED Circuit Check

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect BSD switch & BSD ECU (RH) connector.
Measure resistance of Pin No. 9 (LED power) of the BSD Switch connector and Pin No. 3 (LED power) of the BSD ECU (RH) connector.
Specification : Below 1.0Ω
Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect BSD switch connector.
Measure resistance of Pin No. 5 (LED ground) of the BSD Switch connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Below 1.0Ω
Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Check BSD LED switch connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Check for short ground in the BSD switch circuit.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
