DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • HECU CAN Signal Check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in CAN communication line
  3. HECU
Enable Conditions
  • 1.6s after ignition "ON"
  • 1s after battery voltage is between 9 to 16V.
  • No CAN bus OFF detection
  • BSD switch ON
Threshold Value
  • It can't get some CAN signals from HECU
Detecting Time
  • 500ms
Symptom
  • Cluster warning message is "ON"
  • BSD switch LED is "OFF"
Fail safe
  • BSD/LCA function is failure
Recovery Condition
  • Normal HECU CAN signal received
