Repair Procedures: Removal

NOTE: If replacement of the extension wire of BSD unit is required, it is recommended to surely replace the defective part only with a new one, not the whole BSD unit.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the rear bumper cover.
(Refer to Body - "REAR BUMPER COVER ")
Disconnect the BSD unit connector (A).
Remove the BSD unit (B) after loosening the mounting screws (C).

Information

If the connector or wire is damaged, replace the extension wire.
- Remove the extension wire after separating the mounting clip.
