Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
Remove the battery (+) cable bracket (A) by loosening the mounting bolt (B)
Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector (C).

Disconnect the starter cable (B) from B terminal on the solenoid and then disconnect the connector from the S terminal (B).

Remove the starter (A) by loosening the 2 bolts holding the starter.
