Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition switch "OFF"
  2. Refer to "REPAIR PROCEDURES " and disconnect 4WD ECU connector.
  3. Ignition switch "ON"
  4. Measure the voltage between Pin No. 15 (Power) terminal of 4WD ECU harness connector and chassis ground.(A)
  5. Measure the voltage between Pin No. 15 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 14 (Ground) terminal of 4WD ECU harness connector.(B)

    Specification:  Difference in (A) and (B) is less than 200 mV

  6. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
