DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, high
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short to power in signal circuit
  3. OTS
Enable Conditions
  • Engine run time greater than 60 sec.
  • Coolant temp. is less than 110 °C (230°F)
Threshold Value
  • Oil temperature sensor's signal is greater than 4.9V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous (more than 12.5 sec. failure for every 15 sec. test)
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
