Repair Procedures: Removal: Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the driver airbag module.

    (Refer to "DAB AND CLOCK SPRING ")

  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to "STEERING COLUMN & SHAFT ")

  4. Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening 6 screws.

  5. Remove the remote control switch (B) after loosening 2 screws and disconnecting the connector (A).
