Front Side Impact Sensor

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning to work.
  2. Remove the center pillar trim.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "CENTER PILLAR TRIM ")

  3. Disconnect the front side impact sensor connector (B).
  4. Loosen the front side impact sensor nut (A) and then remove the front side impact sensor.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)
