Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect Passenger side Body sensor ECU connector.
  3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 4 (Ground) terminal of the Passenger side Body sensor ECU harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  1 Ω below

  4. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace Passenger side Body sensor ECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
