Power Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Refer to ELECTRIC EGR CONTROL VALVE and disconnect EGR Valve connector.
- Ignition "ON"
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 6 (Power) terminal of EGR Valve harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in power circuit between Throttle Body and PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
