DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. EGR actuator position sensor circuit is opened
  3. EGR actuator position sensor circuit is shorted to ground
  4. Faulty EGR actuator position sensor
Enable Conditions
  • The study of valve lowest position is completed
Threshold Value
  • EGR actuator valve position sensor output voltage is lower than 3.5V or higher than 4.51V
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1s
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
