DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy Case 1
  • Missing Signal Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Open or Short in Intake Camshaft Sensor Circuit
  3. Misadjust crankshaft and camshaft pulley position
  4. Faulty Intake CMPS
Case 2
  • Out of Range Monitoring
Enable Condition
  • First CRK Long teeth passed
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Number of revolutions without Camshaft edge more than 2rev. after synchronization, 6rev. before synchronization
Case 2
  • More than 6rev. with camshaft edge out of designed reference position window (18° CRK angle difference compared to reference position)
Diagnostic Time Case 1
