Control Circuit Inspection

  1. Check the fuel pump fuse (15A)
  2. Ignition "OFF" and disconnect fuel pump connector.
  3. Measure voltage between Pin No. 10 (Motor +) terminal of fuel pump harness connector and chassis ground (Measure the control circuit while turn the Ignition switch "OFF" to "ON").

    Specification:  0V -> 12V -> 0V (Fuel pump is controlled for 7 to 8s. by the ECM/PCM)

  4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    NO
