DTC P0230-00: Fuel Pump Primary Circuit: General Description

The ECM/PCM pump relay is powered by the Main Relay when the ignition is in the "ON" position, the ECM/PCM grounds the "control" side of the fuel pump relay. When the ignition switch is turned "ON", the ECM/PCM energizes the fuel pump relay closing the "load" contacts and sends power to the fuel pump. The ECM/PCM monitors the control circuit between the fuel pump relay and the ECM/PCM.
