Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
  3. Refer to MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR (MAPS) and ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) and disconnect MAP Sensor and ECM/PCM connector.
  4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Signal) terminal of MAP Sensor harness connector and Pin No. 82 (Signal) terminal of ECM/PCM harness connector.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
