MAFS Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Refer to MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR (MAFS) and disconnect MAFS connector.
- Ignition "ON"
- Measure the voltage between Pin No. 5 (Signal) terminal of MAFS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 4.8V
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Inspect and repair open or short in circuit, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
